Hey guys
Went to Doc this morning and this is amazing
I have been on omeprazole 20mg x4 a day for over 20yrs for a hiatus hernia and bad reflux
a few weeks ago on a call I heard people say that they no longer needed theirs so have been weening myself off and have had none for 3 days
Old doc was amazed
I am also on “THE LIST” to have a bladder operation and had my last scan 7 days ago as I noticed I was not leaking 1/2 as bad Doc said if I keep improving I may not need op Can you believe that. crazy. Why don’t more Doc’s know the power of good food weight lose and exercise. I’m really blown away by it all so if that is not enough to get me and my family on track I don’t know what is . The only bad news is if I don’t stay off my foot he threatens to plaster it
It is so hard not to push it when crutches stop u carrying anything but will try harder to use them more
thanks so much to all u guys that have made such great comments and believe me I have taken it all on board and am feeling more postive this week
Cindy and I am going to meet next week so hope Caroline will contact us and meet up also
Hope you all have a great week
Cheers Linda xx

Hi Linda – you are incredible, the Dr’s face must have been a picture. It was so good to hear you on the call tonight. Even though you feel it tough sometimes with your foot etc that sheer grit is shining through and you’ll never be beaten. Sometimes it’s good to do as you’re told! I can recall the pleasure of smoking from about 25 years ago but there is no way I’d ever take it up again cos not smoking is now a greater pleasure for me. When you get to that stage (and you will) you’ll know what I mean. M. xx

Hi Linda, thanks so much for sharing more of your story on the call tonight, you’ve gone through a lot, and hopefully what you’re doing for yourself now will make a huge difference in your life!! I’ve never smoked, but can understand the craving in the same way as it’s so hard to give up certain addictive foods…. You’re going in the right direction, and hopefully soon you’ll find you don’t need that particular pleasure as you’ll be feeling so much better in so many other ways. What amazing reports of improved health you’ve had, keep ‘em coming! Have a great week! Take care,
Desi
